PEOPLE: No more 'Talk' for Aisha
No more 'Talk' for Aisha
The daytime TV show "The Talk" is losing one of its co-hosts.
Aisha Tyler announced on the air that her increasingly busy career prompted the decision.
She's been on CBS' "The Talk" for six years and will leave at the end of this season in July.
Tyler said she intends to return to "The Talk," both as a guest and a drop-in host.
Yoko gets writing credit
Yoko Ono, who was previously credited as a co-producer on John Lennon's "Imagine," will earn a co-writing credit on the 1971 song.
David Israelite, the president and CEO of the National Music Publishers' Association, said at an event that Ono would earn the co-writing recognition on the song 48 years after its release.
Singer's final recording 'was therapeutic'
Glen Campbell's last record, "Adios," is a swan song for the ailing Grammy-winning performer and TV personality, but his daughter said the recording was also therapeutic for him as well.
Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2011.
Shortly after his farewell tour ended in 2012, Campbell's family knew he might never get another chance to record.
"We definitely were seeing a decline, so we wanted him to be able to do this, while he still could," Ashley Campbell said. The album, released Friday, features songs that Campbell has loved to sing, but never recorded.
These days, the 81-year-old singer is in the late stages of Alzheimer's but, according to his daughter, is happy in a memory care facility in Nashville.
