Theater Barn auditioning local actors for 2018 season

NEW LEBANON, N.Y. — The Theater Barn will be auditioning local actors for its summer/fall season, noon-3, Feb. 17 at The Church of the Immaculate Conception Hall, 732 Route 20.

The non-Equity professional theater will be casting three plays — "The Nerd" by Larry Shue, June 22-July 12; Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap," July 5-22; and Donald Churchill's "The Decorator," Sept. 7-23 — and three musicals: "Pump Boys and Dinettes," July 26-Aug. 5; "She Loves Me," Aug. 9-19; and "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," Aug. 23-Sept. 2.

All actors should bring picture and resume.

Actors auditioning for the plays should prepare a 1-minute contemporary monologue.

For musicals, prepare 16 bars of both a ballad and an up-tempo, and bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided
