Stockbridge: Berkshire Botanical Garden invites Grow Show entries

Posted
Berkshire Botanical Garden's 47th annual Grow Show, an event showcasing the summer harvest, will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, at the Garden, 5 West Stockbridge Road.

Backyard gardeners are the celebrity growers at the Grow Show, when their summer harvest is spotlighted in this upbeat, judged event.

Nearly 80 horticulture classes are open for registration.

Visit berkshirebotanical.org for more information and to download entry forms.

This year's Floral Design and Photography Divisions are inspired by five historic homes. "House of Flowers" venues setting the stage for artistic interpretation include Chesterwood, Naumkeag, Frelinghuysen Morris House and Studio, Olana, and The Mount.

"Gnomes in the Garden" will showcase entries by adults and children.

Entry to the Grow Show is free with admission to the Garden.
