Pittsfield: BCC plans MLK Day of Service

Berkshire Community College's Service-Learning Program is partnering with the Harvest Table, Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity and Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center for the National Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 16.

Approximately 45 BCC students and employees will participate.

A limited number of slots for volunteers from outside BCC are still available. Registration is required. Monetary donations as well as donations of baked goods are also welcome.

Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 55 Fenn St., before dispersing to the service locations.
