Hinsdale votes for 10 uncontested positions Saturday

HINSDALE — Residents will have a slate of unopposed candidates in Saturday's town election, which features 10 candidates running for 10 seats.

Richard Kardasen is asking for his first three-year term as a selectman.

New candidates Heather Brown and Shaun Galliher also are seeking one-year terms on the Finance Committee. Brown and Galliher will join incumbents Ray Bolduc, Christine Pike and Mary Rice, who are each looking to again fill one of the three three-year seats on the committee.

Dawn Frissell is up for another three years as town clerk and Neil Barrocas is asking for another three years on the Board of Assessors.

And there are two seats up for election on the Planning Board. Dan Brown is looking for another five year term while Bill Pike is asking to fill a one-year term for a vacant seat on the board up for re-election in 2018.

Polls are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Town Hall in the first floor Community Room.
