Health, Safety and Well-Being: Prevention Works recognizes Brattleboro's Tarallo
"JoEllen is always on the cutting edge when it comes to putting prevention science into action," said Lori Augustyniak of Prevention Works! VT, "She is a courageous and effective advocate, on top of every current event in prevention. She is always willing to support her prevention colleagues and gives enormously of her time to support the field as a whole. We thank her for her commitment, and for finding so many ways to make a statewide impact on strengthening the health and wellness of Vermonters."
Tarallo is the Executive Director of the Center for Health and Learning and is a state licensed and nationally credentialed health educator with decades of service as a teacher, trainer, program, project and curriculum developer.

Under her vision and leadership, CHL has offered training and technical assistance to more than 20,000 people and developed the award winning Umatter Suicide Prevention training and public information campaign.
