Great Barrington: Historical Society exhibit opening

The Great Barrington Historical Society continues its celebration of the 1950s with the premier opening of its museum exhibit, "Growing Up in the 50s," from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Historical Society Museum at the Wheeler Farmstead, South Main Street.

"Baby Boomer" artifacts include a look back at the town of Great Barrington in the 1950s with pictures and mementos. Also included in the exhibit is a nostalgic display of pop culture from that time.

Fifties' inspired refreshments will be served during the opening. Admission is free and open to the public.
