Fall Foliage Festival continues this weekend

NORTH ADAMS, MASS. —
The theme of this year's Fall Foliage Festival is "Magic in the Berkshires." What makes the North Adams community magical to you? Share in the fall foliage magic this weekend. The following is a schedule of events.



Thursday, Sept. 28

Fall Foliage Ziti Supper:
Annual supper at St. Elizabeth's of Hungary, $7-$10, 4 to 7 p.m., 70 Marshall St.

Downstreet Art: The final DSA event of the season, includes a Halloween Magic-Lantern Show, 5 to 7 p.m. at Game On, 66 Main St.; official "Imaginarium" mural unveiling, 6 p.m., Center Street; "Marafanyi Meets the Mural" musical performance, 7 p.m., Center Street; live music by Chad Tarves, House Sparrow and 8 Foot River, 5 to 8 p.m.; opening reception of Setsuko Winchester's "Freedom From Fear/Yellow Bowl Project" exhibition at MCLA Gallery 51, 51 Main St.; and more.

Downtown Bike Around: Light Up Your Bike Fall Foliage Bike Parade and Rodeo, meet at 5 p.m. for bike safety course and bike decorating, ride begins at 6:30 p.m., St. Anthony's, St. Anthony Drive.

Mass MoCA Chalet: The Chalet is open, 6 to 10 p.m., 1040 Mass MoCA Way.



Friday, Sept. 29

Annual Children's Parade: Costumed children march, lineup at 5 p.m. at the corner of Main Street and Eagle Street. Parade starts at 5:30 p.m.

2nd Annual Hope and Healing Concert: Followed by dessert, goodwill offering to support ROOTS teen center, 7 p.m., First Congregational Church, 134 Main St.,

Fall Foliage Magic in the Berkshires Community Dance: Family-friendly dance with live music by License to Groove, dress to impress, 7 p.m. to midnight, music starts at 8 p.m., Game On, 66 Main St.



Saturday, Sept. 30

Bring Your Dog to the Market Day: Special farmers market vendors will include animal rescue agencies and animal-themed products in addition to regular offerings, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., St. Anthony's, St. Anthony Drive.

Fall Foliage Craft Fair: Dozens of local artisans and crafters, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Main Street.

Fall Bazaar: Chinese auction, raffles, baked sale and more, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., VFW Post 996, Mohawk Trail.

7th Annual Dog Parade: Costumed dogs march, category winners invited to march in Foliage Parade, 10 a.m. registration, parade from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Veterans' Memorial Park, Eagle Street.

Hoosac Valley Train Rides: Trains depart at 11 a.m., 1:30 and 3 p.m., $8-$12, 98 Crowley Ave.

2nd Annual Corn Hole Tournament: To support the AYJ fund, $20 per team, register by noon, tournament begins at 1 p.m., Noel Field, State Street.

Sunday, Oct. 1

Fall Classic 5K:
29th annual road race, co-sponsored by the Berkshire Eagle and Berkshire Running Center, to benefit Newspapers in Education, $20. Race begins at noon, North Adams Library, Church Street. Register at berkshirerunningcenter-com.3dcartstores.com.

62nd Fall Foliage Parade: Parade begins at 1 p.m., Curran Highway, Main Street, Ashland Street. Sign up at 1berkshire.com.
