PITTSFIELD — Berkshire Theatre Group is launching a new series this month, the $10 Music Garage, which is devoted to presenting emerging musicians and regional talent.

The first installment on April 28 will feature dream-pop band, Arc Iris, with special guest, the North Adams-based band, Francesca Shanks.

The performance will be in The Garage at The Colonial Theatre, 111 South St.

This event is presented in collaboration with Common Folk Artist Collective.

Arc Iris has attracted fans from across the world, as well as critical attention from NPR, The New York Times and Rolling Stone for their stage performances, and lyric and melody-based, experimental dream-pop. The band — singer Jocie Adams, keyboardist Zach Tenorio-Miller and drummer, Ray Belli — is coming off of an international tour for their second album, "Moon Saloon," released last fall.

North Adams based band, Francesca Shanks features Francesca Shanks on the ukulele and Joe Aidonidis on the keys and drums.

Ticket information is available through the Colonial Ticket Office at 111 South St. in person; by phone at 413-997-4444; or online at berkshiretheatregroup.org.

The Ticket Office hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday; 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sunday; or 10 a.m. until curtain on any performance day.
