Berkshire Bank achieves sustainability milestone


Berkshire Bank has exceeded the first of its sustainability objective by reducing its paper consumption by 15 percent. The bank had originally committed to reducing its paper consumption by 10 percent by 2018.

The bank's sustainability objectives are part of a corporate initiative known as AMEB Green, adopted to make Berkshire Bank a more sustainable company. AMEB Green is focused on results that will impact Berkshire's social, environmental and financial performance by engaging employees and customers in environmentally conscious behaviors. The bank has completed more than 30 green initiatives since the program started in 2015.
