Hancock Shaker Village:
Farm Friends, children ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers meet one of our farm animals, enjoy a special story and do a simple craft in the Discovery Barn, with admission, 10:30 a.m. to noon, 1843 West Housatonic St., Pittsfield.

Third Thursday: Music, performance, food and community activities including children's yoga at Palace Park, "Art in Our Schools" reception at Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, miniature train rides and more, 5 to 8 p.m., on North Street from West to Linden Streets.
